August 2022 Astrology - Taurus

On the 1st of August we have a Grand Conjunction of Mars, Uranus & the North Nodes of the Moon at 18 degrees of Taurus. This signals big, unexpected changes. Maybe an earth event like an earthquake or volcano. Saturn will square this conjunction bringing challenges to change from those in authority, the old guard. Rebellion & demands for equality for all is the anthem! Nicely the Moon is at 18 degrees Virgo- the mood of the people is asking: what is worth keeping here, what is not? Venus is in Cancer & it sextiles this conjunction bestowing opportunities to nurture and protect. This same Venus squares Chiron, women feeling wounded. Correction: The Sun trine Jupiter (not square)- literally some folks will shine and brought to prominence. The last time we had Uranus at 18 degrees was in May 1939 through March 1940 Hitler invaded Poland and the start of WW II began. Interestingly, Jupiter was in Aries too but the North Nodes were in the opposite sign, deep dark Scorpio!
The Sabian Symbol for 19 Taurus is: A new continent rising out of the ocean. This refers to a state of enlightenment where higher consciousness leads the way with the ego left behind. After the crisis comes a new beginning (1).
Full Moon in Aquarius 19 Aquarius 21 occurs on the 12th August @ 6:35 p.m. PDT. The Moon & Sun squares the conjunction of Mars, Uranus & the North nodes bringing challenges for the new order to manifest. The Moon conjuncts Saturn bringing a seriousness to this moon & the Sun opposes Saturn- increased clashes of the people with authority figures. Venus moves to Leo, Mars sextiles a retrograde Neptune & Mars trines a retrograde Pluto. The Sun ingresses to Virgo on the 22nd August asking us to be of service to mankind (but not to sacrifice too much) & take care of our health. The 24th August has Uranus going retrograde a 18 Taurus 55- real change takes a backseat for a few months.
New Moon in Virgo 4 Virgo 04 on the 27th August is at 04 Virgo 03 @ 1:17 a.m. PDT. Happy New Year all Virgos!! Mars will square both the Sun & Moon bringing aggressive conflict. Venus in Leo squares a now retrograde Uranus & widely squares the North Nodes. Women rising up to challenge our future destiny & demands change. Saturn opposes Venus- authority figures blocking women’s progress. For others, money issues.
We end the month with Mars at 6 Gemini sextiles a retrograde Jupiter at 6 Aries- opportunities abound to change the trajectory of our future and blaze a new path.

Sept 2022 Mars goes into shadow at 8 degrees Gemini & Mercury goes retrograde in Libra.
