A massive protest broke out at the Chandigarh University campus reportedly after private videos of girls were allegedly leaked. Police reached the spot and arrested a girl student who allegedly recorded those objectionable videos and sent them to a boy, who then shared the videos on social media.
Police has filed a case into the matter. The accused girl is a first-year MBA student, police said. A video has surfaced now in which the girl can be seen being questioned in presence of other girls. She is heard saying that she used to send videos to a boy in Shimla.
Mohali police, however, has rubbished reports suggesting there was incident of an attempt of suicide after the videos of the girls were leaked. Police said that no suicide incident has taken place.
