The first ever MAGNIficent Adventure Race was held in Southland, New Zealand and the 460km course was an epic mix of trekking, mountain biking, trekking and navigation ... and there was some climbing and canyoning too!
Teams were self-sufficient and raced non-stop for 6 days in all weathers, day and night. The race winners were Team Sardines Adventure Racing, and as the race is an Adventure Racing World Series Qualifier they won a free place at the 2025 Adventure Racing World Championships in Canada.
