Curtis Jones is a 2016 point guard with great potential. He is long and athletic for his position and has a solid skill set. He can shoot the ball well from three point range and attack the basket and finish at the rim. He is very explosive and creative in transition and plays above the rim on open breaks. We expect he will continue to progress into one of the best point guards in Virginia for the 2016 class. Curtis Jones started out his high school career at Highland Springs in Richmond, Virginia. Following his freshmen year, Curt transferred to the national powerhouse, Paul VI Catholic High School in Fairfax, Virginia. As the 6th man, he came in and scored in bunches. He played his role and helped his team compete in their national schedule and eventually to a VISAA State Championship. Curtis Jones had a huge sophomore year and has received several high-major D1 offers, and the list keeps growing. Jones has competed on a national scale all season long and everywhere he competes he simply makes it look easy. During the spring and summer he has been on the road with Team Loaded VA and competes in the Adidas Uprising AAU Circuit. Team Loaded VA is one of the top Adidas teams and Curt is one of the main contributors on the team. He has also attended the Pangos All-American camp and the Adidas Unrivaled camp and continues to perform at a high level. There is no denying that Curt Jones is one of the smoothest scorers in the country. At 6’3, he can run the point and get his teammates involved; but he is also capable of playing off ball and stretching the defense with his deadly jump shot. Overall, Curtis Jones is a very well rounded player who can dominate the game in a number of ways.
