I’ll show you the Shurijo Castle in Okinawa.
Okinawa is located on the south of Japan and very popular place for tourists.
You can enjoy the emerald green sea, originally culture and traditional foods based on Ryukyu kingdom’s history.

The Shurijo Castle was built around the middle of the 14th century and is said to have been the base of the first king of the Ryukyu Kingdom.

It’s registered as a national treasure and a world heritage site.
It has a unique architectural style that combines Chinese and Japanese castle building cultures.
There are many gates in the castle and each of them have meanings.

The Shureimon Gate is a symbol of the castle and the popular photo spot.
The gate is said to be one of the three most disappointing sights in Japan, did you know that?
