Описание: Summer-and-winter is one of my favourite weaving techniques. It requires two shuttles: one for the pattern threads (coloured) and one for the tabby (plain weave ground). It is a little fiddly to weave, but the results are stunning. The "back" side of the cloth is not an exact reverse of the "front," although it's close. The numbers I'm calling out correspond to the sheds I'm raising (i.e., the treadles I'm running with my feet). If you look below my work area, you can see the reverse side of the cloth.
