The oil check valve has two passages with a check ball and spring in each one. Radial Engines has FAA approval to modify the baffles to have flexible material at the bottom so that the cylinder base nuts can be checked and torqued as needed during period inspections without removing the baffles. Steve also walks through their diaper method of finding oil leaks. Steve also discusses why they dropped the pressure on the governor to 120psi.
Steve spends time discussing the fuel distribution of the impeller and why cylinders 6, 7, and 1 are more rich than the other cylinders and this explains why cylinder number 5. There's a plug installed in the main output shaft to restrict oil flow and keep things clean during shipping. It stays in place if you are using a ground adjustable propellor or fixed pitch. It has to be removed if you are using a constant speed propellor.
