We joined the first server way behind but turned it around with some great team play. The rest of the night went even better. Communication domination.
The skies are certainly more chaotic with the new patch changes but we've got it pretty good in the air for now as jets, especially with teamwork. Until DICE fixes some of their strange decisions (i.e. Tank Nerfs) and the Heat Seeker bug we're going to be overpowered a bit in decent hands. Even though it takes more shots to kill jets/choppers with the mini-cannon change, it also means we can survive easier. So air battles tend to last longer and feel a bit more exciting as you're having to dodge all sorts of danger to stay on your target. And when you do finally get a kill it feels much more rewarding.
The patch has a few issues (of course) but overall I'm enjoying it from the jet perspective. I do feel sorry for Tanks though...they got it bad.
