1,730 miles into the European road trip, it all becomes too much for Scout the Schnauzer.

Описание: 1,,730 miles into our vanlife adventure and we rolled into Denia, Spain, armed with ant killer from Mercadona and ready for anything!
Our first Park4Night spot wasn’t exactly sociable, so after setting the bait boxes we headed out to explore.
Recent storms had covered the shoreline in seaweed and the beach wasn’t officially dog-friendly… but it’s off-season, the dogs were on leads, and other pups were out—so we bent the rules just a little!

We soon found a much better park-up near Fernando’s Restaurant, joining a friendly row of vans. Despite the leftover puddles from flooding, we settled in, shared a few beers with our neighbours, and enjoyed an unforgettable Denia sunset.

Morning brought a beautiful walk through the marina and port, with Denia Castle standing proudly above the town.
Later Jess joined me to wander the narrow streets, craft markets, and cosy restaurants.
We ended up in a lovely bar, then climbed a few steps to an Irish pub where we met some incredible people… and Scout the Schnauzer was so tired he fell asleep sitting up!
