Many prefer to boost the mid frequencies of a Big Muff by putting an overdrive in front of it. There are some Muffs, though, with an internal mid-boost to cover any situation. Today we want to show you the Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker by Electro Harmonix, probably the most versatile NY Big Muff out there, along with the JHS Crimson, a Russian Big Muff with a switchable mid boost.
