In June of 2022, Roman and Mykhailo traveled to the Columbia River Gorge to film the region’s beautiful wildflowers. As they made their way to their destination, Roman noticed how stunning the surrounding landscapes were and decided to capture the scenic roads as well, so viewers could experience the natural beauty of this remarkable area along the journey.

Summer reveals a unique side of the Columbia River Gorge, when the landscape becomes a vivid mix of deep green forests and golden hillsides shaped by volcanic geology and ancient floods. The gorge itself was carved over millions of years by the Columbia River, which cuts through the Cascade Mountain Range and forms a natural boundary between Oregon and Washington.
