Tonight you'll meet ten of Brazil's most whimsical, cosy and beloved creatures — from the mermaid who sings the Amazon to sleep, to the pink river dolphin who walks among us in human form when the moon is full, to the tiny forest spirit in its hollow tree, singing the lost songs back to the night.

Each creature gets its own long, unhurried story, told in the slow and gentle style of a tale shared at the edge of a fire at the end of a quiet evening.

This is a video for falling asleep to. For letting the noise of the day dissolve into the warm, breathing dark of the most alive place on earth.
