This video came out kind of bad due to both the lighting and wind being terrible so I didn't upload it. But I am uploading it now since YouTube will inevitably compress it to make it look like garbage anyway and leaving the horribly maxed out audio in the footage for your enjoyment. Over the gusting wind, you may be able to hear some 2001s from Washington Township begin their test before this siren does.

As some of you know I attempted placing an audio recorder at this siren in March 2020 after I found it seemed to still be active, only to have it fail and I assumed it just didn't work, but in 2022 this siren was fixed and now works as intended. This is a 480 volt 3 phase model, and was retained even after the city's legacy siren system was replaced in 2011. This siren is located at the Avery-Dennison plant at a city water tank.

Sirens in Montgomery County, Ohio (including the city of Miamisburg) are typically tested on the First Monday of each month at noon.
