We are still on Grandparent duties for this week, so I'll still be posting re-runs, this will also give the new followers to see some of my past videos and you can see some of your favorite video's. Hopefully next week we'll have some nice weather and we can go on some new adventures. Today we have wind warnings and by tomorrow they are supposed to be very strong gusts of 74km.
I definitely want to ao back to The Great Sandhills of southwestern Saskatchewan! The Great Sandhills are 27 km south of Sceptre, 137 km south Of Kinderslev and 1 59 km northwest of Swift Current. Surrounding communities include Burstall, Eston, Cabri, Eatonia, Leader and
Rosetown, is a unique 1,900 square kilometer area of active desert-like sand dunes. Native grasses and small clumps of trees, such as aspen, willow, and sagebrush, flank the dune formations. Mule deer and antelope frequent the area. The boots on the hill are in memory of a man named John, who was a caretaker of the Sandhills and a member of the Sandhill's Stockmen Association from 1950 to 2007. John's favorite sayings were: No one should judge another person until you've walked in his boots, and `When my boots hit the ground, that's the start of a great day". You will also see me halfway through the video walking up the Sand Dune. It was a workout for sure! Relax for over seven minutes with an instrumental version of Another Day in Paradise.' Song credit: Phil
Collins.
