Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate, with the chemical formula CaSO4·2H2O. That's what google says. We spread this mineral on every acre of peanuts we have. Much like healthy bones, peanuts require calcium for a healthy lifestyle. The calcium helps form the nut inside of the shell. Also got 2 pivots running on our oldest peanuts. It's hot and dry now so just about every pivot we have is running now. Thanks so much for checking out the video.
