February 15 is the birthday of the National Flag of Canada. Most Canadians know it by its nickname, The Maple Leaf. The flag is one of our primary symbols of identity as Canadians, yet few of us know its story of creation.
Culture Summerside, the arts, heritage, and culture department of the City of Summerside, celebrates the birthday of the National Flag through an informative and lively vignette presented by PEI actor and musician Mark Haines.
Culture Summerside invites you to celebrate National Flag Day on February 15 or any other day, by watching the short video.
