One of the greatest Spanish Chill and Lounge music musicians and producers, Nacho Sotomayor meets the greatest Greek composer of all times, Mikis Theodorakis. With Theodorakis’ 95th birthday coming up and the admiration of Sotomayor for his compositions, he decided to present us with a unique version of “Tou mikrou Voria” (of little North), based on the poem of the Nobel Prize-winning poet Odysseas Elytis. Accompanied by the magical voice of Clara Padovese.

Nacho Sotomayor, musician and producer of extensive professional experience and international recognition, for over a decade has been offering us a nearly annual installment of his album series « La Roca ». His work has been oriented almost in its totality to Ambient Chill, Downtempo, Lounge sounds, although it’s worth mentioning that he’s also done some productions in other areas and for other artists.
In 2008 he received the award for The Best Electronic Music Theme for his track » Untiltled for a guitar« (from his album »Interior«, Absolut Ambient, 2008) in the XIII music awards granted by the Music Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Essential in any compilation as Buddha Bar (Paris) or Café del Mar (Ibiza) in whose 2003 world tour Nacho Sotomayor took part of. He currently alternates his DJ residence in Maldives with sessions around the world.
Together with Francisco Sotomayor they’ve been directing for years their Absolut Ambient label through which they have developed projects for companies such as National Geographics, Giorgo Armani or the American film and television producer HBO (»Six feet under«).
More than 12 albums, dozens of productions, hundreds of remixes, and numerous projects in different fields make Nacho Sotomayor one of the most influential and important contemporary popular music musicians both nationally and internationally.

Nacho Sotomayor, músico y productor de amplia trayectoria profesional y reconocimiento internacional, durante más de una década nos ha ido ofreciendo una entrega casi anual de su serie de álbumes “La Roca”. Su trabajo se ha orientado casi en su totalidad a sonidos cercanos al Ambient Chill, Downtempo, Lounge, aunque cabe destacar algunas producciones en otros ámbitos y para otros artistas.
Imprescindible en alguna de las entregas de recopilatorios de excepción como Buddha Bar (París) o Café del Mar (Ibiza) en cuya gira mundial participó en el 2003. Actualmente también alterna su Dj residencia en Maldivas con sus Live sets por todo el mundo.
En el 2008 recibió el Premio al Mejor tema de Música Electrónica por su tema “Untiltled for a guitar” (extraído de su álbum “Interior”, Absolut Ambient, 2008) en los XIII Premios de la Música que concede la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias de la Música.
Junto a Francisco Sotomayor dirigen desde hace años el sello discográfico Absolut Ambient a través del cual han desarrollado proyectos para empresas como National Geographics, Giorgo Armani o la productora Norteamericana de cine y televisión HBO (“Six feet under”).
Mas de 12 álbumes, decenas de producciones, cientos de remixes, y numerosos proyectos en diferentes ámbitos convierten a Nacho Sotomayor en unos de los músicos más influyentes e importantes de la Música popular contemporánea tanto a nivel nacional como internacional.
