Single Umbilical Artery (SUA) क्या है?|| इसका बच्चे पर क्या प्रभाव होता है?

Описание: Single Umbilical Artery (SUA) is a finding during anomaly scan. Normally umbilical cord contains 3 vessels, one vein and two arteries. When there is only one artery the condition is known as single umbilical artery. it can be associated with structural abnormalities like anomalies of kidneys, heart, spine and musculoskeletal system. In some cases the chromosomal association is also found. It can be Isolated also.If there association with Chromosomal abnormalities or structural abnormalities this suggested to do invasive testing after advice of Fetal medicine experts. If it Isolated SUA it may require regular followup for interval growth and other complications.
