PROFILE
2002年11⽉徳岡慶也と三浦拓也で結成された、2⼈組ギターインストゥルメンタルユニット。

アコースティックギター2本で、さわやかなメロディーとアコースティックギターの柔らかな⾳⾊で⼼象⾵景や喜怒哀 楽といった感 情、四季折々の情緒を表現する。 詩がないのに、唄っている様に聴こえるアコギの⾳⾊は⽿なじみが良く、多種多様な所で楽曲が使
⽤されている。ライブ・コンサートでは、 アコギ2本だけの演奏から、バンド編成までその場所に合わせて様々な感動を提供してい る。対照的な2⼈のキャラ、絶妙なトークも魅⼒の⼀つ。2005年アルバム「Let's Go!!!」でメジャーデビュー。インストの⾳楽CDとして
は異例の15万枚販売数を突破する。

インストゥルメンタルのアーティストのデビュー作品としては、⽇本⾳楽史上初のオリコンベスト10内7位にランクイン した。
第20回⽇本ゴールドディスク⼤賞にて、 ニューアーティスト・オブザイヤーとインストゥルメンタル・アルバムオブ ザイヤーの⼆冠 に輝く。翌年もインストゥルメンタル・アルバムオブザイヤー等、各賞を受賞。 ⽇本国内であらゆるライブ活動を展開し続け てい る。

そして国内だけにとどまらず、海外でも⼈気の⾼いDEPAPEPEは、
2008 年からタイをはじめ、韓国、インドネシア、台湾、シンガポール 等でCDをリリースをすると共に、 アジア圏でも毎年ライブを⾏ なっている。
タイでワンマンライブも開催し3000⼈もの動員、 翌2014年のインドネシアでのFESではDEPAPEPEだけで10,000⼈以上もの観客を動員。
2015年は⽇本を含む、タイ、韓国、台湾、インドネシア、マレーシア、⾹港でリクエストを受けたベストアルバムを も発売。

2020年にはメジャーデビュー１５周年を迎え「インストミュージックをポピュラーに!」を掲げ、さらに世代、国境も越えて勢⼒的に 活動中!!

Profile
A duo-guitar instrumental unit formed by Yoshinari Tokuoka and Takuya Miura since November 2002.
The refreshing melody and the soft tone of the 2 acoustic guitars emotionally portray what lyrics do. The sound of the acoustic guitar singing soothes the ears, and the music seeps into everyday life.
They debuted in 2005 with the album “Let's Go !!!” and the album sold over 150,000 copies, which was rare for a pure instrumental music CD and moreover, was the first ever instrumental debut album to score #7 in the weekly album charts in Japan.
Their activities soared overseas, in 2008 they released and went on an Asian tour throughout Thailand, S. Korea, Singapore, Taiwan etc. In 2009 they first appeared in a music festival in Indonesia gathering 10,000 to their stage. 2020 marks their 15th anniversary since debut and on a mission to spread the beauty of instrumental music.
