Описание: The Gules Aquila Brass Band from East London, South Africa, performed at the 2008 South African School Band Competition which was held in Ermelo, South Africa. The band performed a different repertoire in three categories and won the Best Brass Band Section, Best Wind Band Section and came second in the Best Open Band Section by 0.05% and was also awarded the Best Concert Band Overall at the competition. At that competition, the band took 1st place, 2nd place and 4th place. "Elvis: Pure Gold" was arranged for the GABB by the conductor/bandmaster, Michael Forbes.
