If you are running an Edelbrock carburetor and having heat soak issues , try one of these Edelbrock #8725 phenolic spacers!
I was experiencing hard starting on the 1971 C10 after long drives and then trying to restart 15-30 mins later. Even with the rubber heat insulator gasket Edelbrock recommended, the carburetor was too hot to touch.
Now, with the new spacer-even after a long hard run-the carb is cool to the touch! These are available on Amazon, or at your local parts house. Highly recommended!
