This video is about how I use the inverted rubbers or the pimples-out rubber. In this tournament play, I am using a red medium-length pips-out rubber in my backhand. The tournament took place at Gaisano City Mall, Lapaz, Iloilo City, Philippines. This is so far my highest ranking in an Executive tournament. The latest highest ranking I had in our local tournament was entering the quarterfinals only. This time, I qualified in the Semi-finals and finished 3rd Place.
The equipment I am using is the Globe 888 (1.8 mm) for my backhand (red), Donic Bluefire M1 for my forehand (Black), and Stiga Eternity VPS (all wood).
You can see in the video how I used the medium pips rubber in returning rolling balls, no-spin, balls, and underspin serve. Also, I can push, loop or lift, drive, and block incoming balls.
I hope you enjoy the video.
