A project I worked on during my second year at HKU photography. For three months, I've been researching a way of behaving towards other people, exploring a form of being.
The moon for me was a metaphor for being in the background. Often silent and outside of attention. The moon is the opposite of the sun. The sun is bright and present. The visible and bright nature of the sun contrasts with the less visible nature of the night with the moon. The brighter the sun, the less visible the moon, and vice versa. Life energies fluctuate between people, creating forms of being that distinguish us and allow us to take or give space. The installation allows you to reflect on your relationship to the world.
