Many of us are familiar with job insecurity, political instability and suffering- all of which is linked to precarity.
Join Dr Geetha Reddy (https://fass.open.ac.uk/people/gr5437), a Lecturer in Psychology from The Open University, for this talk which discusses how precarity is embedded within the field of social psychology and explore how knowledge is produced in the field.
In addition, apply an intersectional and transdisciplinary lens to review what precarity can mean from a psychological perspective. You are invited to engage more deeply with the works of decolonial, liberation and critical psychology scholars and to reflect upon the varied ways precarity forms part of our everyday experiences.
