Day 1: A peaceful evening hunt turns into absolute chaos when over a THOUSAND birds swarm the field louder than a rifle shot! Then the deer show up… but nothing shootable. Full moon walk-out was worth it.
Day 2: I’m literally sitting in my living room and the biggest buck of the year (20" 8-pointer) walks into my front yard. Of course I’m not shooting him there… so back to Mom’s freezing blind I go.
Day 3: I decide to sleep in… and my sonTyler texts me that someone has shot a deer right in front of him. Someone just poached on our property at 8:30 in the morning. Called the game warden, two showed up fast, and you won’t believe how this ends.
This one has it all: insane bird flocks, a yard buck bigger than anything in the woods, and a real-life poacher confrontation with the DNR. Real hunting, real drama, real life.
