At Kandy station I met a couple of people who were climbing Adams peak so I decided to join them. We started the hike at 1:30am so that we could be at the top for sunrise. It was incredibly busy as it was Easter Sunday and lots of the buddhist, muslims and christians in Sri Lanka were climbing the peak as they have to do it at least once in their lifetime.
