How to fix P0735 Code: Gear 5 Incorrect Ratio
A P0735 code is set when the computer (TCM/PCM) detects that the revolutions per minute (RPM) difference between the rotational speed of the input speed sensor and the transmission output speed sensor in 5th gear falls outside the normal range.
Possible Causes of a P0735 Code:
Low Fluid - Dirty Fluid - Clogged Filter
Bad Transmission Sensor (Input/Output Speed Sensors)
Transmission Failure (Pump, Planetary Gear, Valve Body, Solenoid)
Wiring Harness or Bad Computer (TCM/PCM)
