The Elephant Reintegration Trust has been established by four passionate individuals with the vision and dream of developing an elephant refuge reserve in South Africa which will provide a secure wild environment for elephants in need, particularly retired, commercially used elephants from various captive environments. The mission is to establish and maintain a refuge and reintegration reserve for elephants from any background. Founded in 2017, the Elephant Reintegration Trust is a small but dedicated registered non-profit Trust based in South Africa committed to improving the lives of elephants. One of our main objectives is the establishment of rewilding elephant reserve
