A Humanitarian Gesture for an Iranian Naval Ship
Dr. S. Jaishankar, Minister of External Affairs, spoke on the third day of Raisina Dialogue 2026 about India’s humanitarian decision to allow an Iranian naval ship facing technical difficulties near Indian waters to dock at Kochi Port.
The ship, carrying several young cadets who were originally sailing for a fleet review, safely reached Kochi after a few days at sea. The cadets have since disembarked and are being accommodated at a nearby facility.
