It has fitted with Ashok Leyland inhouse developed A-Series 8.0 litre TCIC,CRS,iEGR, SCR technology water cooled diesel engine which Produces 320 HP @ 1300 Nm Torque & has dry type aircleaner. It rear suspension available in two option which is Bogie Suspension & Bellcrank Mechanism Suspension.The name HIPPO was introduced in the year 1970 by Ashok Leyland for its 6x4 Tractor & Tipper segment which was used by INDIAN ARMY at that Period in INDIA.
