Описание: In this video I take a trip to the foot of the beautiful Wicklow mountains, where I forage a very common wild edible known as the Sloe. This little wild fruit is found on the Black thorn shrub, ripe, and in abundance in the October across rural Ireland, Europe and other parts of the world. The purpose of foraging this fruit is to make a very tasty Gin to be ready for Christmas. There are still plenty of Sloes around at the moment and will be around on higher grounds until the end of November. In this video I will show the complete process of making the Gin and look forward to the holidays when I can pour it over a few cubes of ice!
