The eight players competing in the Super Round take part in a two-phase competition – a round robin group phase for seeding on 8 November and a bracket play on 9 September.
The group phase sees the eight players evenly divided into two groups of four players each, where each player plays the other three players in their group. The rankings in the 12-game round robin phase determine the seeding for the quarterfinals, which sees the first-place players in each group play the fourth-place players in the opposite group, and the second-place players in each group play the third-place players in the opposite group.
