Bird Photography: Searching for an Elusive Forest Bird: The Brown Creeper

Описание: In today's video, I went out searching for a specific species of bird that I tend to not have much success in photographing. This species is the Brown Creeper which is a resident species here in Connecticut and is a very interesting bird. It is similar to a nuthatch or woodpecker in that it can climb up the park of trees and uses it curved bill to collect insects living in the crevices of the bark.
I headed out to a section of forest that had a diversity of tree species to see I if I could locate this bird. The bird blends in very well to the coloration of the tree bark so I sat quietly to listen for its distinct song. I soon heard not one but two of the birds and I was able to move in an get close to photograph them. I was really happy to be able to finally photograph this species and to my luck, I was also able to watch these two birds working on building a nest.
