The Grótta Lighthouse marks the entrance to the harbor of Reykjavik. It is only possible to walk to the lighthouse at low tide. The space surrounding the Grótta Lighthouse is a bird sanctuary and off limits to tourists between May and July. It is a superb place to watch the Northern Lights. The lighthouse is active.
This aerial tour was made using a DJI Phantom 2 Quadcopter with Zenmuse Gimbal and Fatshark FPV goggles.
