▶ Falkensteiner Ufer
The Falkensteiner Ufer is a beach area in western Hamburg, Germany, stretching from the district of Rissen to the district of Blankenese. It is characterized by the river Elbe, its beaches and a steep, foresty hillside. It is a very popular destination for day-trip tourists coming from Hamburg and surrounding. However, tourists coming from further make up a fairly high percentage of visitors as well.

What once was a poor fishing village is today the rich and famous district of Blankenese. Alongside many cafés, restaurants, fishing piers and local attractions such as the Blankenese Lighthouse and the Roman Garden, the wide beach is long enough to host many people during summer months.

The Roman Garden is a public park in Blankenese district in Hamburg, Germany. It is located at the south slope of Süllberg, one of the highest points in Hamburg.
The Roman Garden lies 30 meters above the Elbe river and is connected via many stairs. Special about this park is the fact that it was built in art nouveau, unlike most other parks along the Elbe river, that are built in English style. The garden is under protection.
