Wandering through the golden heart of the Delta

This week, we continue our Botswana photography workshop adventure as we head into the mighty Okavango Delta. I have to say right off the bat—this place has totally blown my mind. The lush greens, the golden hues, and the sheer intimacy of the landscape make it one of my new favorite places on Earth.

In this video, we dive into a mix of wildlife and "intimate landscape" photography. I knew while I was there, in the moment, that I was capturing something really special. There’s a quietness to the Delta that invites you to read the landscape differently—to pause and really think about the shot.

A bit of a personal note: I’ve included a fun bit of "Neil history" in this week’s episode. It’s a look back at a pivotal moment in my photography journey that helped shape how I see the world today. Make sure to watch through to the end for that insight!
