Alhamdulillah, we begin our Tafseer course with the very first episode.
In this introductory session, I briefly introduced myself and shared the vision behind this course. We also revisited our previous learning journeys together — from Seerah workshops to other structured Islamic studies programs — and how each of them naturally leads us to the Book of Allah SWT.
This episode covers foundational discussions, including:
• What is the definition of the Qur’an?
• Is the Qur’an the literal Speech of Allah or a creation?
• Understanding the concept of Wahy (Revelation)
• The different types and modes of revelation
Before diving into the verses themselves, it is essential to build a strong conceptual foundation. Our goal in this course is not just translation, but understanding — engaging with the Qur’an in a thoughtful, structured, and academically grounded manner.
Whether you are a student of knowledge or someone reconnecting with the Qur’an, this journey is for you.
