The Keep A Breast Foundation uses multiple digital and artistic approaches to educate and support a younger audience—who often aren’t specifically targeted by breast cancer charities.

This charity meets millennials and Gen Z on their own turf, at music festivals and art events worldwide. Interactive displays, educational materials, and an approachable style help them engage women and men, and they learn more about their bodies and how to take care of them.

Every October, their #CheckYourSelfie campaign encourages people to take a selfie with three fingers to their breast, symbolizing their commitment to self-check. And to give step-by-step instructions on the self-check and make it a routine, there’s a companion Check Your Selfie app.

Plus, to help people make smarter choices in their daily lives, the charity’s Non Toxic Revolution offers extensive info on risks (from fast food to household chemicals) that have been connected to breast cancer.
