Buchan Peterson Pipe Band, led by Pipe Major Peter Morrice, competing in Grade 1 bands during the 2024 North of Scotland Pipe Band Championship. These were held at Banchory in May 2024 and the band, who wear Buchan tartan, were awarded 2nd place in Grade 1 bands for this performance.
There was a great turnout of Pipe Bands taking part in this championship, thanks to the efforts of the organisers Banchory District Initiative, in conjunction with the Royal Scottish Pipe band Association - (RSPBA) North of Scotland Branch.
