Most people in Zimbabwe think that once you have your approved plans from the Architect and a Bill of Quantities from the QS, you’re ready to build. But then the builder calls to say the 'pit sand is finished' two days early, or the bricks delivered aren't load-bearing, or the USD budget you set last month no longer covers the roofing.
That is where Construction Management comes in.
Today, I’m explaining the real difference between a Construction Manager and every other professional on your site. While others tell you what it should look like or how much it should cost, the Construction Manager is the one who ensures it actually gets built—correctly, safely, and without you losing your mind.
