In this video I start my attempt to complete the North-South track in the Kaimai Ranges, New Zealand, while solo backpacking. I began at the Kaimai Summit (southern end of the track) and walked about 8 hours to Te Whare Oki Oki Hut. It wasn't all sunshine and rainbows and that's okay!
