This giant monster size GE 10K G96/1 light bulb was made for motion picture, television and photography studios. It produces 10,000 watts of light and is rated at 295,000 lumens. It operates using 120 volts of AC power and draws around 84 Amps.
This giant 10k bulb was a popular source for illuminating scenes to create a daylight look and other lighting effects. It was widely used in the 1970’s and 1980’s and then discontinued. In its time it could be considered one of the world's largest light bulbs that was mass produced for the entertainment industry.
