Описание: In the 1980s, Malaysia's performing arts scene was going through a shift in the stories being staged. Focusing more on local stories and decolonizing the narratives by uplifting and homegrown playwrights and theatre practitioners. At the centre of this was Krishen Jit.

As one of the co-founders of Five Arts Centre, he saw theatre as a platform to challenge the notion of a multicultural society and addressed the cracks that existed within it. An issue that very few were willing to acknowledge.

This is how Krishen Jit used theatre to shine a light on the cracks of a multicultural nation.
