In this video I wrap up getting all the thinsulate insulation installed and put in a floor mat in the cab.
I got 40' by 60" 3M Thinsulate acoustic insulation on Amazon. It came in 4 rolls, and I used them all! If you have any van bigger than a 136" wheelbase you would likely need more. Note - the insulation below the subfloor is 1/2" polyiso foam board, so I did not use this Thinsulate there.
I used 3M Hi-Strength Spray Adhesive 90 for attaching it, and went through most of 3 bottles.
I do recommend using a respirator when working with this stuff, or any chemical. This comes out like Spiderman had too much fast-food , so doesn't fill the air like an aerosol, but still it's pretty nasty to breathe.
The floor mat is the Intro-Tech Automotive Hexomat Front Row Custom Fit Floor Mat for Ram Promaster Van Models also from Amazon. I did test it and it didn't slide too much, but I will definitely be looking for something to tack it down in a way that will keep it from sliding but be removable for cleaning. Maybe velcro strips.
