The engine starts on the very first turn of the key… smooth, clean, perfect. But just when everything seemed ready for the first real drive, a sudden coolant leak from the drain plug floods the floor.
We fix it. Refill. Bleed. Reassemble. Again.
But power is still missing — the DPF is fully clogged. No test drive yet.
Meanwhile… I take a breath. I head to Polperro, Cornwall — one of England’s most remote and peaceful coastal villages, to clear my mind before Part 3: the regeneration, the final tune-up, and the first long drive.
