It’s hard to believe that we are 8 months into the Year of the Snake. Once the shock of the energy settled, it was a fast and furious start to the year, it is amazing how we have all managed to adapt and change to the new vibration of not only the world but in our personal life too.
Change or transformation is not easy, when we are pushed out of our comfort zone, then the natural order of things is turned upside down it is easy to withdraw and resist the changes, however this year’s animal energy is not only the Snake but it is a Wood Snake, so what does this mean for us?
Wood is a strong and vibrant element which stands its ground and flexes its wisdom. I feel that I have had to dig deep and find what feels right for me so far this year. I have had to take a step back and just look at situations from a place of wisdom and apply that wisdom knowing that it will create change in my life and for others. It is interesting that wood energy is associated with strength, stubbornness and authority, all of which is on display within the global geopolitical environment, however what is interesting is that world leaders are standing their ground and showing strength by making changes to how diplomacy works.
We are all called upon to use our discernment, feeling into situations and deciding what is best for us, our family, our life etc, This is all part of transformation, we are moving into uncharged territory, however there is an excitement there, there is a feeling that b creating and change we are becoming something quite different but like the Snake when it sheds a skin, what is revealed underneath?
I would say to anyone who has been facing difficult or challenging circumstances, look at who are you becoming due to that change. Create the new identity that will be the new you and stand in your power.
