Bill Evans is one of the greatest modern Jazz Pianists of all time. He was on Miles Davis' classic "Kind of Blue" record and he also fronted the amazing Jazz trio with Scott LaFaro and Paul Motian. The trio recorded four albums "Potrait in Jazz," , "Explorations," "Sunday at the Village Vanguard" and "Waltz for Debby" before bassist Scott LaFaro tragically died in a car accident in 1961.
I was working on Interplay with a student last week and I thought I would make a video of the Head and do a couple of solos. Hopefully this video will help people learn the magic of Bill Evans.
