Описание: Arunangshu Pal welcomes you to the Episode 2 of my new vlog. Barsey or Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary may be a familiar name to the trekkers but not to many. Barsey is a hill top in the Singalila Range in western Sikkim. It can be considered as a place for off beat travel as this place is somewhat off route among the most popular tourist destinations in Sikkim. Just 4km of trek will reach you to Barsey, hence it is easily accessible. Surrounded by Rhododendron plants, this place is a Nature lover's Paradise. The dense forest of Barsey is covered with hemlocks, silver firs and magnolia as well. We chose to visit Barsey in the month of April since the rhododendrons and other flowers bloom during March and April.
At a height of almost 10000 feet from sea level, the place remains cold all through out the year. So you need to carry proper warm clothes.

In this video we will show you how you can reach Barsey from Kolkata, especially when you plan for a budget trip. Shot with my #GoPro​ Hero 7 Black, #Sony​ Cybershot and iPhone 6S and using my editing skills, I hope you will like this video.
