A song I wrote recently about the power of friendship. Sometimes all we need is a friend who will be there in difficult times. Life can be hard and cruel, and we've all seen that in the last few years. Friendship is a wonderful gift, and being a friend can change someone's life.

I’ve been writing songs for years but something happened at the start of 2022 that made me really think about what was true to me and how I could be more true to myself. I put some time aside and began to pull together all my song ideas from the last 10 years or so, discovering that I had over 300 ideas. I then chose 10 that were either pretty much finished or I wanted to complete, and set to work.

My goal is to complete and record 10 songs by the end of 2022 and publish them here on this channel. I’m not doing it because I think my songs are amazing, I’m not pretending to be a gifted singer and my guitar skills are mediocre at best! I’m doing this for me and because creativity finds a way of coming into the world.

And right now I have songs to sing.
