A police officer has been shot and two others are missing after a warrant operation at a rural property in Porepunkah, north-east Victoria.
The injured officer was hit in the thigh as heavily armed Special Operations Group members rushed to the scene.
Locals have been told to stay indoors, while Porepunkah Primary School remains in lockdown with students kept inside.
Police say the situation is an “active incident” and are urging the public to avoid the area.
